7th Berlin Pow Wow 2006 - Review

“To me the 2006 Pow Wow was very enjoyable and relaxing, but I also gained a lot of new and surprising impressions and made new contacts in Berlin.”

A total of 423 national and international hosted buyers plus 327 guests from the Berlin and Brandenburg region were impressed by the great variety and quality offered by Berlin tourist businesses at the 7th Berlin Pow Wow that took place from 10 to 12 February 2006.

Friday, 10 February 2006
After the 423 participants from 23 different nations had arrived at their hotels, they were invited to see one of the capital’s many shows. The hosted buyers were spoilt for choice, with ballet, operas, vaudeville shows, cabaret and musicals on offer.

Saturday, 11 February 2006
After a plentiful breakfast at the host hotel, participants were off to the trend location "Postbahnhof am Ostbahnhof". There at the workshop of the 7th Berlin Pow Wow, 137 exhibitors presented their range of services and offered comprehensive information. Exhibitors devoted the entire morning exclusively to the hosted buyers, who used the opportunity to find out as much as possible about the capital´s tourist offers. While some of the hosted buyers went on various theme-based sight inspection tours in the afternoon, the workshop also opened its doors to regional trade visitors from Berlin and Brandenburg. 327 guests from the region came to update their knowledge about Berlin´s tourist offers.

Sunday, 12 February 2006
On Sunday participants used the free time to explore Berlin off their own bat or to go to appointments made the day before.
